Holy Trinity Welland is responsible for the Smith Street Cemetery.

Established in 1857 at the site of Holy Trinity's first framed church, the cemetery continues to serve the needs of the two Anglican churches in Welland. Located on the north side of Smith Street between Aqueduct Street and Chippawa Street in the City of Welland, iIt was established with the purchase of one acre of land and has since become a significant burial site.

The history of Smith Street Cemetery is closely tied to the parish of Holy Trinity, which was established in 1857 and has a long-standing presence in the heart of Welland. The cemetery's history reflects the growth and development of the community. The cemetery is also known for its tranquil and simple beauty, with well-tended gardens and flowers, offering a peaceful place for those who wish to pay their respects.

The cemetery is currently maintained by volunteers at Holy Trinity.  New volunteers are always welcome.
